The ceremony has been officiated together with Ts. Zulkurnain Shahadan, Director of Competence & Career Development, Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education, Hj Ulaimi Yahya, Director of Polytechnic Ibrahim Sultan and Mr Tong Sing Chuang, Director of PERKESO of Johor State.
International Carrer Fair PIS x MYFuture Jobs 2024 is a two-day career carnival, held in collaboration between PIS and PERKESO, aims to provide a dynamic platform for final-year students and the local community to explore diverse career opportunities.
Themed “Turn Passions into Profession”, the fair featured 26 employers offering more than 130 positions across various industries in Malaysia and Singapore. There were career talks, company and alumni sharing sessions, internship offers, job interview opportunities, and information on further education.
In addition to participating in the opening ceremony, Datuk Lai Kok Fai took the opportunity to tour the fair, engage with students, and show his support for the next generation. He encourages students to seize this opportunity to build their confidence, enhance their knowledge and skills, and boost their marketability in the competitive job market of the future.
